Karen and Dean’s big day started off at the amazing Kings Road United Reformed Church in Southend. I’ve been really lucky with churches so far in 2018, I’ve shot weddings in some amazing buildings, and this church did not disappoint! I waited at the church and grabbed a few snaps whilst waiting for Dean to arrive, and then dashed off to the Westcliff Hotel to meet Karen.

Once I got back to the church it was time for the ‘I do’s’. The ceremony went without a hitch and there were smiles on everyones faces. We popped outside to throw some confetti, run through the group shots, and then went back inside to get one or two more photos inside this amazing church.

Once we were at the Westcliff Hotel we went outside into the beautiful Southend sun to grab some shots of the newlyweds. It had bombed it down with rain that morning so we were lucky to have such amazing sun shine. Pretty soon it was time for dinner and a couple of quick speeches.

After dinner the sun was just starting to come down so we ran outside for one or two more shots before the cake cut and first dance. The dance floor had to be cleared before the cake could be cut though, the kids had taken over!

The first dance finished and the guests were taking care of the dance floor, so we went outside into the much cooler night to grab one or two more photos in the dark. This was a really great day with a really lovely couple and some amazing guests, it was a pleasure to be part of. Congrats guys!
