It was Kelly and George’s big day! I made my way up to Braintree, Essex, to the lovely Fennes to find Kelly and her bridal party all getting ready upstairs. Everyone was pretty chilled out as they were getting ready for the day ahead and it wasn’t too long before Kelly was getting into her dress. The ceremony room downstairs was ready to go and the grounds outside were looking amazing despite the rain (not that we needed to worry about that, the sun came out in full force!)

George had soon arrived and was getting suited and booted with the rest of his groomsmen. After a few quick snaps he went off to the ceremony room with the rest of the guests where they began to take their seats. Kelly was in her dress and once all of the guests were out of sight and in their seats she began making her way downstairs, ready to say her “I do’s”…

There were soon two newly weds making their way back up the aisle grinning from ear to ear, swiftly followed by some very happy wedding guests too. We made our way outside and jumped straight into the couple’s shots. The sun had come out and we wanted to make the most of it just in case it decided to rain again. There is so much to work with inside and out of Fennes, I absolutely love it there! Next up was the group shots before heading inside for the wedding breakfast.

The speeches followed and were full of lots of laughter and loads of love! Amazingly it was still sunny and there wasn’t a drop of rain so we popped outside for another couple of photos. Soon the evening guests were starting to arrive and it was time for the cake cut and first dance. I love the dark dance floor area at Fennes, they help to make some really lovely first dance shots.

Before I left everyone to it we were lucky enough to get a sunset! After a final few photos outside, I left the happy couple with their guests to dance the night away. I had a ball with these guys and got some of my favourite photos ever, such a great day! Big congrats to you both…
