LANGTONS & OLD REGENT BALLROOM: SUE & BOB
What a lovely day this was! When I first met with Sue and Bob a year or so before the big day they said that they didn’t want all of the fancy, traditional stuff that weddings normally entail. They just wanted to have a wonderful, informal, fun celebration with their friends and family, and that’s just what they did! My day began with a little bit of bridal prep, just up the road from me in Stanford Le Hope. The house was full of people all getting ready and maybe just one or two nerves flying around too. But there wasn’t time to be nervous! After one or two group shots in the garden, it was time to hop in the awaiting wedding cars and make our way to Langtons House!
We arrived fairly early, before the groom in fact! It wasn’t long though before the ceremony was well under way and all of the nerves from the morning were a distant memory. Sue and Bob were soon husband and wife and we were heading outside with their guests for some group shots. Next up was the couples photos. I really love Langtons House in Hornchurch, there is so much to work with in the grounds and there are some great spots for photos indoors too.
Next up, we were heading to one of my favourite venues…not just because it’s only a five minute walk from my house…but it’s just such a different and special venue. The Old Regent Ballroom! After some mingling and a few more photos it was time for dinner and a couple of very informal, short and sweet speeches.
The rest of the evening was full of laughter and lots of fun. It was all pretty informal and relaxed, no cake cut or first dance tonight. The dance floor was still rocking though, dominated by the weddings youngest guest! After one last photo outside the venue (probably my favourite shot of the day), it was time for me leave everyone to enjoy their evening. Massive congrats to you both guys! Thanks for letting me be part of your big day.
