Langtons Registry: Charlotte & Dan
13 July 2017
Charlotte and Dan’s big day was finally here! They were looking for an Essex wedding photographer and got in touch with me a few months earlier and I’d been looking forward to it ever since. I made my way to the lovely Langtons in Hornchurch to meet with Dan and his guests. The ceremony room started to fill up and was soon full with family and friends all waiting for the bride to arrive. I made my way outside to see Charlotte arriving in style, in what must be the loudest car in Essex.
We were soon inside and waiting nervously to enter the main ceremony room. I made my way to Dan and his groomsmen at the front and snapped away as Charlotte was walked down the aisle to get married! The ceremony went without a hitch, and the whole thing was streamed live on Facebook for family all over the world who couldn’t make it to be part of the big day too.
After the ceremony we headed outside for a few group shots and some mingling with the guests before they were all sent off to the reception to get the party started. Pretty soon it was just me, Dan and Charlotte left! We had loads of time on our hands to get lots of great shots of the newlyweds. Charlotte and Dan were so easy to work with; easy to pose, super patient whilst I set up some of the shots and they were up for getting as many photos as we could!
After an hour or so of shooting the happy couple were getting back into the loudest car in Essex to drive to their wedding reception. I wasn’t with these guys for long, literally only 2-3 hours, but I really had a great time. They’re a really cool couple who are clearly head-over-hills for each other, and I’m over the moon for them. Congrats guys…
“We wanted photos that would be a little different, after going to wedding fairs and seeing photographer after photographer who had the most boring portfolios we had ever seen, Dave stood out as the most creative and definitely the one we wanted. We were not disappointed!” Charlotte and Dan Hoey
