On the 17th of may I made my way to the village of Dedham in Essex for Candice and Chris’ big day. I made my way over to Milsoms Hotel to find Candice and her bridal party all taking their turns having their hair and make up done. Everyone was pretty chilled out whilst Chris and his groomsmen were up the road at Le Talbooth, doing all the hard work adding all of the finishing touches to the table decorations in the marquee. Soon, the tables were decorated, the make up was finished, Candice was in her dress, we were ready to go!
We made our way to the boat (Yes, a boat!) to climb aboard and make the short journey to Le Talbooth. Thankfully, no one drowned and we were ready to say the “I do’s” and exchange the rings!
Everything went without a hitch and we soon had a pair of newlyweds who couldn’t stop smiling. After some time with guests we jumped back in the boat to grab a few snaps and go for a little ride up the river Stour. Once we were back on dry land at Le Talbooth, we spent a few more minutes taking pics of Chris and Candice before jumping into the group shots. Soon, it was time for dinner, swiftly followed by speeches which were full of lots of laughter and lots of love.
We had a tiny little bit of light left outside so we popped outside to chuck the confetti, throw the bouquet and then grab one or two more shots of the happy couple, just to make the most of the stunning venue.
Soon it was time for the cake cut and first dance. My favourite thing about first dances, is when the couple just go for it and don’t care who is watching. Candice and Chris did not disappoint! The rest of the night pretty much continued as it began. The dance floor was flooded, everyone was up and having the best night they possibly could. After one more shot outside (one of my favourites of the day!) I let them go off to enjoy their evening with their amazing guests. Thank you so much for letting me part of your big day, I absolutely loved it! Big congrats to you both guys!
