It was the sunny Saturday of the Easter weekend and I made my way to Red Brick Barn in Rochford, Essex. No prep today, just straight into the ceremony! Kayleigh’s car was arriving outside and a nervous groom was waiting inside. Everything was soon underway and all the nerves melted away, pretty soon we had two very happy people walking back up the aisle as husband and wife!
After some time mingling with guests we started working our way through a few group shots, chucking some confetti around, and then going for a walk around the grounds to grab some shots of James and Kayleigh. These two troopers made my day when they said they were happy to walk down the drive of Red Brick Barn over to the fields on the other side of the road..and it’s a very long drive when you’re wearing a wedding dress! (Well, I assume it is…)
We were soon back with guests and taking our seats for the speeches, before making our way outside to stuff our faces with Hog Roast! It was a really chilled out and relaxed day and everyone was having such a great time. Everyone made me so welcome and I felt like I’d known everyone for years!
The sun was just starting to come down and give us that amazing golden light that photographers love! We went for one more little walk around the grounds just to grab one or two more pics to make the most of the light before heading inside for the first dance.
I really did love this wedding, and James and Kayleigh were awesome to work with. Thanks for letting be part of your big day! Congrats guys…
