My day began in Loughton with Rhia and her family all getting ready. There were a few nerves knocking around but nothing too major. It wasn’t long before hair and makeup was finished, the dress was on and we were off to Waltham Abbey Town Hall to get the day well and truly started.
The ceremony was short and sweet and went without a hitch. The newlyweds were surrounded by their friends and family as we made our way just over the road to the beautiful Waltham Abbey Gardens. We ran through the group shots and then went for a walk around the amazing gardens to capture the bride and groom shots. The grounds were stunning and it helped to produce some of my favourite photos this year (especially the night time shots!).
Once we were back at the venue, the bar was open and food was about to be served. After dinner, there was a quick best man speech followed swiftly by the Father/daughter dance, and then the newlyweds first dance. Once the first dance was finished you could not keep everyone off of the dance floor! Pretty soon it was the cake cut…or cake smash (have a look at the photos!).We popped back to the gardens over the road to get some night time shots, I am so so pleased we did because it gave me some of my favourite images so far this year! Big thanks to Mikee and Rhia for coming back outside! This was a genuinely really lovely day, filled with lots of love and laughter. The families were so welcoming and friendly and I felt like a guest from start to finish.
Massive congrats to you both!!
